VooV TV, The startup company, Founded by Dovev Goldstein and Guy Zohar and funded by Mr. Jeff Pulver and merged into Network2 Inc by the end of 2007.

VooV.tv was a personalized linear video channel service. It was a personalized video channel built on collaborative ratings of the entire online video – aimed to be available on internet, cellular, digital cables and IPTV platforms.
VooV’s uniqueness was based on complete mapping of the metadata on every video item on the web, and via collaborative filtering mechanism along with learning algorithm recommendation engine, provided each viewer a linear viewing experience based on his personal taste.

ZooZ, the lifestyle, entertainment and leisure guide channel, owned by Yellow pages (Dapey Zahav) and Mars Interactive games is and interactive TV guide.

Active Content, by Dovev Goldstein, provided the full specification of the channel, handling the licensing of the channel and other legislative aspects of the channel and managed the operational management of the channel till it’s launch via HOT- Israel’s cable’s operator.

From idea to production is not just a vision, and therefore the karaoke channel’s creation of a complete TV channel included all the chain required to build such a channel including:

Supported by the Asper Institute for New Media Diplomacy and produced by students from the Sammy Ofer School of Communication at IDC Herzliya, NoCamels goes behind the scenes of this disruptive vibe, behind the minds of the people who strive to challenge the status quo of new media and high tech industries.

Aimed with its values – authentic intimacy flavored with cynical humor – NoCamel’s goal is to expose and project different sides of Israel comparing to those the news/ political media normally choose to cover.
The video articles will be produced by 3rd year BA students at IDC’s School of Communication as their final year project.
